• Make simple jigs and fixtures for drilling
• Dismantle and assemble valves and fittings in pipes and test for leakage
• Repair and assemble damaged mechanical components used for power translation
• Make precision fitting , scrape and lap surfaces for appropriate accuracy
• Test accuracy of machine tools
• Perform simple repair of machinery and overhauling
• Fabrication and welding
• Supervising
• Lathe operation ( Threading, Boring, Step turning, Taper turning etc)

• Forging
• Plumbing Fit and assemble pipes, valves and test for leakage

• Lateral Entry to Diploma Engineering for Second Year
• Service Technician/ supervisor/ Lab Technician/ Machine Operator / Forman in Private and Govt. Sectors. Instrument calibration, marine field technician, mechanical store keeping, education field as instructor/ JTO. Job opportunities at foreign countries

Self-employment Option

• Run his own Mechanical/ Welding / fabrication / maintenance workshop and take up Building construction structure work
• Setup his own manufacturing unit
